The Rosemary Balsamic Vinegar is part of our Gourmet Flavors. It starts as concentrated grape juice that is slowly simmered and reduced to a carmelized syrup. Then it is aged over 4 years in wooden barrels and slowly turned into rich balsamic vinegar. While it’s aging in the wooden barrels, fresh rosemary is added to the wooden barrels to infuse the balsamic vinegar with the heady aroma and taste of the rosemary. Because this balsamic is slowly infused over time from fresh herbs the rosemary taste it imparts is very clean and fresh - just as if you had added real rosemary to your dish.
