Our white balsamic gourmet flavors are made using our accolade-winning white balsamic aged in oak barrels for 4 years. Then, we add natural flavors that perfectly compliment the sweet and tangy oak aged white balsamic. The White Truffle White Balsamic proudly displays the hallmarks of white truffle taste - earthy, mushroomy, and a little garlicky. It is a wonderful addition to any mushroom dish, as well as being an easy savory addition to meat dishes and sauces. Combined with our Nuovo olive oil, it is a decadent indulgence to dip bread into - sweetness from the white balsamic, green grassy flavors from the Nuovo olive oil and the earthiness from the truffles. It’s hard to imagine a better match!
Trebbiano & Malvasia grapes are first pressed and the resulting grape juice is slowly simmered over a direct flame for 24 to 36 hours to concentrate the flavor of the grapes and the sugars in the grape juice. The resulting syrup is aged in tightly closed oak barrels to preserve the natural straw yellow color and combined with wine vinegar for the perfect balance of sweet and sour.
Recipe suggestions: Wonderful drizzled over mushroom risotto (especially porcini), as well as mushroom soup or lasagna. Sesame crusted seared Ahi Tuna with our White Truffle white balsamic drizzled over the top before serving is amazing. Oven-roasted potatoes in our olive oil with truffle balsamic drizzled on at the last moment are raised to culinary excellence, contrasting the hearty potatoes with earthy, garlicky truffles.
